From the mainland, you may go to Langkawi by taking the ferry. You also can choose which jetty do you want to depart either from Kuala Kedah Jetty or Kuala Perlis Jetty. From there, you can get the ticket first and choose what time you want to come to Langkawi between 7 am – 7 pm. Please note that the frequency of ferries is seasonal and weather dependent. It is for your preparation before make some decision.

By Land

 

You also can use private or public transportation to get here such as your own car or motorcycle, train and bus to go to the jetty. By using a bus, it will take around 8-10 hours journey to reach Kuala Perlis from Kuala Lumpur depending on traffic conditions. TBS (South Integrated Terminal) and Duta Bus Station are the terminals which heading to Kuala Perlis.

There will be a break throughout your journey to Kuala Perlis for about 30 minutes so that you have a time to go to toilet or buy some snacks. Then the bus will continue the journey until they will stop at Kangar Bus Station, before finishing at the Kuala Perlis Bus Station.
